We Exist to Glorify God

Cornerston Icon Blue

Cornerstone Reformed Baptist Church exists to glorify God by knowing the person of Christ, treasuring the glory of Christ, and advancing the gospel of Christ.

Our hope is to see the people of Terrell and greater Kaufman County forever changed by the gospel of Jesus, holding dear to Him as their source of all joy and worth.

Expository Preaching

Cornerston Icon Blue

At CRBC we are committed to preaching Bible-saturated, Christ-exalting, gospel-centered, confessionally-grounded sermons. This means that we primarily preach expository sermons through books of the Bible. Our prayer as we preach is that the lost would be evangelized, the saints would be edified, and above all, that the glory of God in Christ would be magnified.

Giving

Financial stewardship and giving are acts of worship, and therefore necessary and important. But in our giving we should be careful to take the words of Jesus to heart, when He said to not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing (Matthew 6:3). So we have two primary ways of giving at CRBC: instead of passing a plate, we have an offering box near the entry doors of our worship center that you can drop your offering into at any time as the Lord leads you, or you can give online by clicking the button below.

Missions Focused

Cornerston Icon Blue

We want to point people to Jesus in all we do, which is at the heart of being a faithful and healthy local church. But, along with seeking to be a faithful and healthy local church, we are also striving to reach the lost and plant and revitalize churches here and around the world. But we can’t do this alone, nor are we called to. So, we have strategic mission partners here and around the world.

Prayer

Our God is sovereign and good. He has bid us to cast all our cares upon Him because He cares for us. Our heavenly Father calls us to ask, to plead, to share, and to lay our hearts bare by the Spirit, through the Son. Because of Jesus’ work for us and the Spirit’s work in us, we can, “with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16). God hears and God cares, for He is good; and because God is sovereign, prayer works. That said, we would count it a joy and a privilege to pray for you. Please feel free to call (972) 563-1011, or click the button below to share your prayer request with us.
